Now that the income is gone or substantially decreased for a time, what strategies might be deployed to stay afloat?

How long might the job search last?  There are formulas one can use to estimate their personal situation.  Based on some factors that are under one’s control and some that aren’t, one can positively or negatively affect how long the search will last.  There are options to exercise!

Once I know how long, I can develop pro-active plans to survive financially and minimize worry.  Then I am able to focus on my job search plans in a positive manner.
