MOVING
FORWARD
“But one thing I do, forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is
ahead, I press on toward the goal…” Phil
3:13-14
Get past the loss of a job, a
career or a dream. Move to that place called the future.
It is very
difficult to have a successful job search if one is dwelling on the past.
Feeling hurt, anger, bitterness, and feeling like a victim is not healthy nor
is it good for a job search. Employers don’t often hire hurting
candidates.
We will see
how moving to a positive position can and will affect the outcome of finding
your next career position. We will suggest a few methods for getting
past the “why” of your situation.
·
Why will
bitterness hinder the job search?
·
What does the
Book say about loss?
·
What can be
done to get back on track?
·
Who is in
control of the circumstances?
·
Getting
past “WHY ME, GOD?”
