CHOOSE YOUR FUTURE

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.”  Psalm 32:8

Get this picture … you can and must choose where you are going, or you might end up somewhere else!

Choices abound.  Even when we think we have no choice we usually have several alternatives.  And if we don’t choose, that is a choice.  And with every choice, there are consequences.  The choices we make determine our destination … our FUTURE.

In a successful job search one chooses a “future focus” consciously, carefully and confidently.  It saves time, allows others to help and engages all one’s resources toward one goal.  The future focus involves decisions about career, job, geography, industry, company and boss.

·   Can one pick a boss, a company and an industry ahead of seeing what job openings exist?

·   How can decisions be made when one has little work experience, no education or a questionable work record?

·   How does one choose when choices aren’t available?
